LAWYERS ASSOCIATION
CARLSBAND
Last season: 5-0
one D
Coach: Thadd McNeil, 16th grade
Department: I
Key players: Josh Davis (WR), Anthony Ferrelli (LB), Matt Moore (DB), Palo Burak (RB), Julian Sayin (QB), Dom Martin (DL), Christian Sarem (DL), James Ryan (WR) , Barrett Brennan (TE).
Scouting Report: A 5-0 2020 season could be just the beginning for the Lancers, who return 13 starters - seven on defense. LB Ferrelli, DLs Sarem and Martin and DB Moore are key players there. On offense, sophomore Sayin takes over for his brother Aiden, who is now at Penn. And Julian is already attracting major college recruiters to campus. MacNeal sent 18 QBs to college in his career. Sayin is ranked No. 1 in the class of 2024. WR Ryan and Davis return, along with RB Burak. TE Brennan will contribute a lot.
I PUT
Last season: 2-2
Coach: Michael Hobbs, 4th year
Department: I
Offensive linemen: Mackavelli Malotumau (OL-DL), Marquis Bell (DB), Isaiah Dixon (DB), Ryan Seaau (DB), Kiah Reid (QB), Tate Reid (WR), John McKenzie (OL). OL), Genesis Seumalo (OL), Alexander Hernandez (OL).
Scouting report: The teams are built up front and the Wildcats are big and experienced on both lines with Malotumau (6-1, 290), Seumal (6-0, 350), Tavale (6-1, 240), McKenzie (6 -3 , 245) and Hernandez. Malotumau is a disruptive DE with multiple college offers. QB Kiah Reid is back as is WR-DB Tate Reid. The defensive secondary returns Bell, Dixon and Shaw. The team is bolstered by several players - WR-DB Elton Hurd, OL-DL Hawkin Miller, OL-DL Misaalefua Tausulu, OL-DL Jacob Laga and RB-DB Zuriel Eatmon, who opted not to play last season for various reasons.
CANYON COAST
Last season: 2-4
Coach: Sean Sovacool, 12th year
Department: I
Παίξτε: Skylar Briggs (DE-LB), Cooper Durfee (DB), Andrew Prentice (DL), Christian Reynolds (RB), Nick Schwarte (WR), Ryan Leung (TE), Joe Goddard (OL), Zoom Esplin ( OL), Kyle McCormick (QB), Conner Annicharico (QB).
Scouting Report: Taking a cue from their coach, the Mavericks have great chemistry. They also have very good players. There are a pair of QBs in the returning Annicharico, who is coming off a broken collarbone, and McCormick, a transfer from Northern California. Due to injuries, the Mavericks had six QBs throw a TD pass in 2020 and had eight completions. RB Reynolds returns while Schwarte and Jacob Echan will be key at WR and DB. OL returns Goddard and Esplin (6-9, 250). DL Prentice returns as do DE-LBs Briggs and Durfee. With a shortened 2020 season and a slew of injuries, there isn't much experience, so young, talented players need to step up.
MISSION HILLS
Last season: 5-0
Coach: Chris Houser, 22nd good
Department: I
Scoring: Gunnar Hensley (QB), Ben Eyer (OL), Matt Martin (WR), Canaan Ridill (RB), Jaiden Letua (LB), Peter Eyabi (DE), Jordan Dwyer (DB), Johnny Reyes (PK). ...
Scouting report: QB Hensley made a big impression last season and backed it up with a big summer. RB Ridill was forced to carry the load after another player was injured early in the season and blossomed into a top rusher. WR Martin should be Hensley's favorite target. There are three standouts on defense in LB Letua, DE Eyaba, who is attracting college interest, and DB Dwyer. Depth can be a factor with inexperienced players being asked to step up.
OCEAN
Last season: 0-3
Coach: Dave Rodriguez, 13. god
Department: I
Key players: Jonah Zimmerman (OL-DL), Jadon Bowen (WR-DB), Jason Mageo (LB), Max Mullen (QB), Dayne Morrison (RB).
Scouting Report: The Pirates played just three games before the pandemic shut down last season. Several top players have left, but the cupboard is far from bare. OL-DL Zimmerman (6-4, 285) has Army, Air Force and USD offers. Joining him on the offensive front are lettermen Herrera, Reyes and Austin. Mullen is the new QB with Morrison at RB and Bowen at WR also handling the return duties. LB Mageo is a physical presence on defense. Ezequiel Alvizu and Matthew Gonzalez are the anchors up front. The backfield is loaded with Tony Galeano, Blake Heisinger, Joseph Solis, Isaiah Dasher and Joseph Matthews.
SAINT MARK
Last season: 2-4
Coach: Derek Stank, 7th year
Department: I
Ηθοποιοί: Emmett Brown (QB), Carter Schultz (QB), James Ventura (OL-DL), Ricky Johnson (OL-DL), Kaden Vohnout (RB-OLB), Christian Mota (OL-DL), Nolan Cummings ( WR-DB), Brayden Wellong (OL-ILB), Jace Nix (WR), Joshua Ball (WR-DB).
Scouting Report: The Knights will rely on their six senior captains — Ventura (OL-DL), Johnson (OL-DL), Clark (WR-FS), Vohnout (RB-OLB), QBs Schulz and Brown for leadership. Schultz threw for 694 yards last season, while Brown threw for 1,832 yards in 10 games in 2019. Returned from Santa Ana Mater Dei. Vohnout does the heavy lifting at RB and plays OLB. Emmett Hanson (RB-DE) will shoulder some of the offensive load. Motta (6-1, 265), Johnson (6-2, 260) and Ventura (6-0, 275) are big players on both sides of the ball. The Knights have a nice mix of young players with freshman WR Nix and sophomore WR-DB Ball.
TORREY PIES
Last season: 3-3
Division: I
Trener: Ron Gladnick, 8.r
Ηθοποιοί: Remi Baere (QB), Wyatt Gardner WR), Zach Rowell (TE), Jagger Filippone (OL-DL), Easton Clements (RB), Matt Staycer (OL-DL), Griffin Grant (WR-DB).
Scouting report: After a brutal 0-2 start in which they were outscored 83-0, the Falcons rallied to win three of their last four. 15 starters return from this team and there are plenty of stars. TE Rowell has several college offers including Oregon, Stanford, USC, Miami and Michigan. OL-DL Fililppone (6-6, 265) has offers from Arizona State and Arizona. WR-DB Grant and WR-DB Gardiner also have offers. Junior OL-DL Staycer (6-4, 320) should attract plenty of offers. QB Baere is back as is RB Clements. With four starters back on the lines, the Falcons will be big and physical up front. However, the LB core is untested and lacks much depth.

Scouting report: Westling is new to North County after coaching at Hilltop. His Sundevils will call for a no-huddle offense to take advantage of their speed at the skill positions. Gent, a lefty, was 4-for-8 passing for 60 yards. The top returning weapon is Sevier, who had 22 catches for 252 yards while also having 22 tackles and 3 sacks on defense. Gonzalez, an All-Palomar League second-team selection, and Rath will lead the ground game as Curry returns to guard after starting last spring when he was a starter. Juarez was a first-team defensive back and Gandt was a second-team DB. The Titans scored 186 points in the spring and gave up just 23.

He also caught 6 passes for 115 yards. Nelson had 29 tackles and Martinez had 25 stops. Chavez started several games and was 4-for-8 passing for 74 yards and a TD.

Division: III
Ηθοποιοί: Ryan Herrod (QB), Julian Rodriguez (RB), Brody O'Brien (WR), Lorenzo Miller (WR), Ryan Leonard (WR), Daniel O'Connor (OL), Matthias Johnson (DL), Charlie Tingle (LB), Sam Krosch (S), Andrew Thompson (CB).
Scouting Report: Donnelly created a spread offense with Herrod running the game. The return will be made by the committee. The defense will be 4-2-5 in the hope of stopping the attacks. The Wolverines replace 6 starters on offense and 9 on defense.
VALLEY LEAGUE
ESCONDIDO
Last season: 1-4-1
Coach: Judd Boardman, 6th year
Division: III
Scouts: Abraham Perez (RB), Ivan Sanchez (OL), Marco Rodriguez (DB), Nick Womack (LB), Luke Hilton (LB), Axel Vargas (LB).
Scouting report: The Cougars lost 26 seniors from last season's team, so this team is very young. And while experience is limited, plenty of new players took the field last season. With Robbie Ramos graduating, Escondido will have a new QB for the first time in four years. Offensive burden falls to RB Perez and he is good. The main player is Sanchez. Defensively, LBs Womack, Hilton and Vargas return as starters, as does Rodriguez.
FALLBROOK
Last season: 3-3
Trener: Troy Everhart, 3.r
Department: V
Ηθοποιοί: Hudson Nash (RB), Max Miesterlin (QB), Charlie Stallings (WR), Josh McBroom (Ath-PK), Marcus Washington (Ath), Corbin Coates (DB), Trent Pack (DB), Thomas Sheehy ( LB), Anthony Tomas (LB).
Scouting Report: For the first time in a while, there is hope in Fallbrook. The Warriors went 4-37 - with one of those wins being a loss - over the previous four seasons before going 3-3 last season. There are 10 starters from that team — six on defense. Miesterlin has the talent to push the team over three wins and into the playoffs. LB Thomas and Sheehy are a pair to count on. Washington and Nash are key to the Wing-T Warriors offense. Everhart said the campus is starting to respond and players are coming out for football again. The first two weeks will be critical as Fallbrook hosts University City and a very good Santa Fe Christian team.
RAMONA
Last season: 5-0
Trainer: Damon Baldwin, 17th.
Division: III
Ηθοποιοί: Josiah Brown (OL), Cash Jones (RB), Nicholas Driscoll (TE), Devin Sobczak (QB), Colin Lester (QB), Chance Mattson (WR-DB), Peyton Silva (OL), Jonny Cohen ( WR-OLB), Morgan Strong (DL).
Scouting report: The Bulldogs return nine starters from last year's 5-0 league champions - five on offense, four on defense. RB Jones is the man on offense. QBs Sobczak and Lester are solid. The TE group is stacked, led by two-way rookie Driscoll, who checks in at 6-5, 225. The OL is huge and features three-year starters Brown (6-4, 285) and Silva (6-1 , 250 ). The defense, which stifled last season, has only one of four LBs returning and must replace both starting CBs. Cohen will look to fill the gap at LB with Mattson at CB. He is a strong anchor on the DL.
RANCH WITH A GOOD VIEW
Last season: 0-5
Coach: Shane Graham, 2.r
Division: IV
Key players: Elijah Hudson (WR-DB), Connor Underhill (QB), Paul Graham (OL), Ben Bistowski (OL-DL), Diego Garcia (DL).
Scouting report: The Longhorns are 1-14 over the last two seasons and are in a rebuilding phase. That doesn't mean they'll be bad, though... just young and inexperienced, especially in the lanes. Underhill, a transfer from Rancho Bernardo, will be the QB and is talented. Bistowski, one of only 10 seniors on the team, and junior Paul Graham give RBV some good players up front. DL Garcia and DB Hudson are the starters on defense, while Hudson will see time at WR. Coach Graham said the biggest thing is getting the players, especially the linemen, to their campus to play.
Holy Easter
Last season: 4-1
Trainer: Tony Corley, 15. god
Division: II
Scoring: Danny Davis (QB-DB), Noah Snyder (RB), Justin Phillips (OL), Brody Balliett (MLB), Logan Reid (DL), Leo Maldonado (LB), Andrew Battle (DL), Michael Rhinehart (LB). ), Peter Decelles (LB), Evan Fleming (LB), Armando Godina (DL).
Scouting: 11 return from last year's 4-1 team, with eight on defense. In the Eagles offense, the QB is in charge and Davis is a very talented athlete with great leadership skills. Phillips, who checks in at 6-1, 285, is the OL starter. At 6-2, 250 Godina has the bulk of being a force on the DL. After starting as a sophomore, he sat out last season with a shoulder injury, but is now ready to play. MLB Balliett should be a force. Paul Graham is maturing into a top OL. The Eagles rely on deception to move the ball, but this team also has speed. The OL and DB will be mostly freshman varsity players.
THE CENTER OF THE VALLEY
Last season: 3-2
Coach: Rob Gilster, 33rd good
Division: II
Goalkeepers: Lucas Sinohui (RB-DB), Marlon Bender (QB-DB), Colton Crossley (RB-DB), Humberto Lopez (OL), Marcos Caratachea (OL), Ernesto Gallegos (OL), Jake Dunckel (WR-DB). QB), Cole Gearhart (TE-LB), Jeremiah Sinohui (PK).
Scouting Report: There is only one returning senior — WR-DB Crossley — but there are 11 returning starters. Junior RB Lucas Sinohui is a key player in the offense with QB Bender. OL has three juniors - Gallego (6-0, 280), Karatacea (6-0, 260) and Lopez (5-10, 250). There is a wealth of skill players with several of these sophomores - WR-QB Dunckel, WR Jamal Solis, LB Luke Stehly, TE-LB Phil Cotton and OL Jaden Camp. The lines are thin, but Jaguars are always healthy.
